Donations

Although the Women's Royal Naval Service was disbanded in 1993 there are many thousand of women between their late thirties and nineties who served in the WRNS.

The WRNS BT job is to make sure they receive help when they are in need.

It could be for something as small like £200 towards a new cooker or £2,500 towards a walk in shower for a disabled applicant.

For those on very low incomes, a regular grant of £20 per week, which might not sound a great deal to you but it, does mean an awful lot to someone living on the minimum state pension.

To do this costs us between £300k - £400k each year and whilst we have some investment income, your donations, legacies and income from fundraising events means that we can continue to help those women who are in need - the fortunate helping the less fortunate.

Individual

Your generosity means a great deal to those ex-Wrens who find themselves in need, knowing that there are those better placed who are doing what they can to make life a little easier for them.
