The funds of the Trust are derived from many sources though the only constant source is from investments. However, investment income alone is not sufficient to cover our grant obligations; we rely heavily on voluntary donations to help meet the shortfall. There are many ways in which you can help the Trust carry out its very necessary work.

Donations

Individual

Your generosity means a great deal to those ex-Wrens who find themselves in need, knowing that there are those better placed who are doing what they can to make life a little easier for them. If you are able to contribute to the work of the Trust on a "one off" or a regular basis, then please use the following forms:

If you would like to send a donation in memory of a former relative, friend or colleague then please download file for Donation In Memory of.

Legacies

Legacies are a vital form of income for the Trust. If you are thinking of writing a Will, we would be happy to help you with the wording regarding a legacy. If you have already made a Will and would like to include the Trust, you can write a codicil, which is a supplement to a Will and allows you to amend your existing Will without drawing up a new one.

If you decide to leave a gift to the Trust then notifying us of your intentions is extremely helpful.

Fundraising

Association of Wrens

We are extremely fortunate to be supported by branches of the Association of Wrens all over the world. They kindly organise fund raising initiatives to support the work of the Trust. Please contact office@wrens.org.uk if you would like to be put in contact with your local branch.

Publicity

Please can you help to spread the work of the Trust to your friends, family and colleagues as we aim to spread our net as widely as possible. We do have a small panel of speakers who talk about their lives as a Wren and the work of the Trust. We are keen to expand this group, if you are interested please contact the General Secretary.
